Parsley’s nutrient profile includes high concentrations of vitamin C, pro-vitamin A beta carotene, volatile oil compounds that neutralize toxins, and flavonoids with antioxidant qualities. The chlorophyll and flavonoids in parsley encourage the formation of cellular glutathione, of which higher levels help the body heal and detoxify itself more effectively.*
Parsley is well known in herbal healing as an effective diuretic. This effect is thought to be the herb’s ability to block the re-absorption of sodium and potassium, causing more water to accumulate, and thereby encouraging the body to rid toxins and wastes are from the body more frequently.*
Note: We offer plant-based tapioca capsules for those who do not wish to consume animal-based gelatin capsules. Many years ago, Dr. Hulda Clark decided to exclusively use gelatin capsules because she found the plant-derived capsules at that time were highly processed and exposed to pollutants. However, over the years the manufacturing of plant-based capsules has improved, and clean vegetarian capsules that conform to Dr. Clark’s standards of purity are now available. Made from fermented, organic tapioca, our vegetarian capsules provide the same benefits of gelatin-based capsules and have passed our rigorous testing for purity.
