Symptoms of a gout attack


  • Gout is a type of arthritis characterized by sudden and severe pain, redness, and swelling in the joints. Some symtomps are - 

    • Intense joint pain, typically in the big toe, but it can also occur in other joints such as ankles, knees, elbows, wrists, and fingers. 
    • Persistent discomfort that can linger for days or weeks after the most severe pain subsides. 
    • Redness and inflammation around the affected joint, often accompanied by noticeable swelling and warmth. 
    • Limited range of motion in the affected joint, impeding normal movement and flexibility. 

    These symptoms often come on suddenly and may intensify quickly, making it important to seek medical attention for proper diagnosis and management of gout attacks.
