The Parasite Cleanse is 18-days long. However, it is recommended to do the weekly Maintenance Program for at least four weeks after the initial 18-day cleanse. Consider staying on the Maintenance Program indefinitely like Dr. Clark often recommended.

Dr. Clark suggested doing the Digestive Aid Cleanse either before or at the same time as the Parasite Cleanse; however, the Digestive Aid Cleanse is not mandatory. Digestion uses up a lot of energy. Rebalancing digestive function frees up energy to be used elsewhere in the body, which is helpful when cleansing other organ systems.

You can do some overlapping of the different cleanses. Just remember that each cleanse requires taking several supplements every day. If you become overwhelmed by the amount of supplements or your body reacts poorly to the amount of supplements, stop and do the cleanses separately. You can do the Digestive Aid Cleanse and Parasite Cleanse together, or even the Digestive Aid Cleanse, Parasite Cleanse, and Kidney Cleanse together. If you are doing the optional Candida Cleanse, this pairs well with the Parasite Cleanse. If you are doing the Liver Cleanse, you can complete part 1 (drinking the Liver Support Tea) while doing the Digestive Aid Cleanse, Parasite Cleanse, Candida Cleanse or Kidney Cleanse. However, part 2 of the Liver Cleanse (the 2-day liver flush) should be done on its own - stop all other cleansing during the 2-day liver flush, and you can resume other cleanses after the flush is done. The Heavy Metal Cleanse should be done on its own.

Along with the regimen of herbs, Dr. Clark also recommended using a frequency generating device called a Zapper. However, using a Zapper is not mandatory. Please conduct your own research about using a Zapper. Dr. Clark’s books are a great place for such information.

No dietary changes are necessary when taking the Parasite Cleanse or the weekly Maintenance Program. However, eating a clean, whole food-based diet may be beneficial since diets high in processed foods, refined grains, and refined sugars support parasite growth. Dr. Clark also recommended reducing or quitting coffee while cleansing, but this is not required.

While it’s not mandatory to cut out alcohol consumption during the Parasite Cleanse, it may be beneficial to do so. Alcohol gets converted to sugar in the body and parasites and other microbes feed on available sugar.

Please consult with your doctor or pharmacist regarding possible drug interactions between prescriptions or over the counter drugs and the Parasite Cleanse herbs.

You can expect increased elimination from all of Dr. Clark’s cleanses. Some people have reported minor flu-like symptoms. This is part of the Herxheimer Reaction (or herx reaction). When organisms are dying faster than your body can eliminate them, this can cause mild flu or allergy type symptoms. If you experience severe discomfort while on the Parasite Cleanse, you should stop taking the supplements and contact your healthcare professional.

You may also have difficulty sleeping while on the Parasite Cleanse. Dr. Clark attributed this to increased ammonia levels from waste products as microbes die. Increased ammonia in the brain, according to Dr. Clark, can cause sleep disturbances. Taking the amino acid ornithine can help to counteract the ammonia.

While some individuals may see evidence of organisms in their stool, this is not typical. You should not expect to see interesting “things” in your toilet bowl from the Parasite Cleanse.

Everyone’s body reacts differently to supplements. While it is common to experience better digestion during the Parasite Cleanse, some individuals may also experience a change in bowel movements. If you experience severe diarrhea while on the Parasite Cleanse, we suggest that you consult with your doctor.

Dr. Clark was adamant that Black Walnut Hull and Wormwood killed the adult and larval stages and Cloves killed the eggs. She insisted on using the three herbs together to attack all stages of the lifecycle.

Three kinds of supplements are used most often for digestion and bloating. The first is digestive enzymes, which work to break down foods and relieve the pancreas. The second is probiotics, which also aid in the overall digestion of food and assimilation of nutrients, and maintain the overall integrity and health of the intestines. The third most popular supplement are herbs that promote digestion like ginger, turmeric, and green black walnut hull.

The original cleanse sequence is as follows: Digestive Aid Cleanse, Parasite Cleanse, Kidney Cleanse, Liver Cleanse. Optionally, the Candida Cleanse can be done after the Parasite Cleanse or at the same time since both cleanses help to balance microorganisms. If you choose to do the Heavy Metal Cleanse, this one is recommended last in the cleanse series.

We do not claim that all of our products are organic. Although we try to source organic or wildcrafted raw materials, if a raw material does not pass our testing procedures for potency and purity, we will not use it. Furthermore, our manufacturing facility is not registered by the US government to process certified organic foods, and therefore we cannot claim our products are organic, with the exception of those that we felt it necessary to obtain additional ogranic certification, like our Organic Turmeric.

Some of our herbal supplements are listed as a Proprietary Blend instead of indicating the milligrams of each herb. Although some manufacturers do this because they want to keep their formula a trade secret, or to prevent consumers from knowing the extact milligrams of ingredients they are taking, we use the proprietary blend label to keep prices as economical as possible, given the large overhead for producing pure supplements. If we were to state the milligrams for each herb in a single formula, we would routinely have to perform potency testing to comply with GMP regulations. We feel this test is unnecessary because we perform identity testing on every herb that arrives at our facility using HPTLC (high performance thin layer chromatography), the best method possible. Performing this extra test only adds cost. If you would like to know the ingredient proportions for any of our products, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We’re more than happy the tell you.

Dr. Clark discovered that capsules made from vegetables are typically polluted with chemicals from the extensive processing required during manufacturing. We use easy to swallow gelatin capsules made from bovine hide and are certified to be BSE free, they do not come from bones and go through extensive purity testing.
