NIH grants $117 million every day to benefit Big Pharma, an industry already flush with cash. I am referring to the 43 billion granted to biotech companies and universities every year. How much  of that budget is spent on researching natural treatment options for diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease? 0.36%, which is actually an inaccurately high number because most the research done by agencies under the NIH are not dealing with natural medicine, but "integrative" or complimentary protocols, which do not require any natural treatment, like herbs, minerals, and enzymes for certain conditions.  

Why is this happening? Well follow the money! It has been a longstanding tradition that our politicians and media love receiving money from Big Pharma. It's either campaign contributions or advertising money. 

How did big pharma capture NIH and what are the consequences for you and your family?

The sad thing is that NIH does not prioritize health with this money! They prioritize what Big Pharma wants them to focus on “novelty” and “IP” which are required for patents - they don’t focus on basic health. This is the core problem with NIH! As long as our politicians are getting paid from Big Pharma lobbyists the $117 daily millions keep flowing every day without fail. This money funds the search for the next blockbuster drug.  Universities get a big chunk of the loot, but so do biolabs, chemists and related scientists.

Instead NIH's goals should center around improving people’s health regardless of if a drug can be patented. Whether the potential drug is “novel” and has “IP” should be COMPLETELY beside the point. 

This decade old policy of doling out $117 millions to universities and inventors of patentable pills and devices has utterly failed the taxpayers. It's a social welfare for the very corporations that have to great extent bankrupted many of our sick and vulnerable.  Not to mention made our healthcare system a laughing stock.

Instead of healthcare they focus on building up a sick care empire. American teens now have more chronic diseases than before, a shorter lifespan and lower IQ due to nutritional deficiencies, there is a market decline in mental health, the list goes on but to top it all of American teens are on average poorer than their parents. 

Speaking of money, those $117 daily millions are funds the USA doesn't have!  This is borrowed money. Our government is expecting those teens to pay for it all. The transfer of wealth from the young to the old continues and so does the transfer of wealth from government to corporations. Who will end up holding the bag? I think you get the picture.

The people that have to pay for this are but children and teens right now and precisely the individuals Big Pharma has hurt the most. 

It’s like Big Pharma is saying “We truly hate young people, so we are going to restrict their access to natural cures, instead feed them patented pills and then make them pay us $117 millions per day of borrowed funds for research. Then if Big Pharma manages to patent a treatment for the many diseases they have, from the use of those funds we will charge them the maximum price for those treatments. - oha ha ha - First we make them sick and then we make them pay! 

Here are some examples:

• NIH has only spent $1 million dollars on using Lithium to cure Alzheimer's disease, and much of the work in this area is being done by independent researchers with low funding. At the same time they have spent $40–45 billion total from 2016 to 2025. They spent the majority of funds on patentable biomarkers, genetics and patented drug discovery.
  

• Lithium has shown promise but funding is lacking.  It’s a shame that Lithium has not been researched more for curing Alzheimer's. 

• Likewise, NIH has not spent any money researching how food poisoning can be overcome using iodine. Food poisoning is a big issue
  

• Finally, NIH typically spends less than 1% of its funds on non-patentable cures. This means they have spent less than 1% on researching the many promising natural cancer cures. No matter how many people get cured of cancer they will dismiss all of those cures. Cancer is curable using alternative immune strengthening protocols. I am 100% sure that cancer can be overcome using herbal cleanses, iodine and other supplements.

• I am sure the biolabs are hard at work trying to design a Lithium trial to cast doubt on the effectiveness of lithium. Universities beholden to the pharma frequently create studies that are designed to fail if you want to diminish the sales of a particular supplement. 

• Unfortunately the FDA has partaken in discrediting iodine, warning about it as if it was poison. This has resulted in limiting its availability and caused immense damage
