Sunlight Is Scalar-Coded: How the Sun Does Far More than Previously Imagined

by Nelson Montelauro

For decades we’ve been told that sunlight is just electromagnetic radiation: photons of certain wavelengths that either tan us, burn us, or make vitamin D. While true, this presents a cartoonishly reductionist picture.

A growing body of biophysical research studies (plus some of the sharpest clinical minds in regenerative medicine) now describe sunlight as structured, information-rich, scalar-like energy that literally reprograms living tissue at multiple levels: the fascia, the crystalline lens of the eye, the collagen matrix, and even the cerebrospinal fluid.

In short, sunlight is  like a symphony conductor for human biology.

Here are five lines of evidence and thought leaders that have convinced me this is not woo, it’s the next frontier of photobiomodulation and quantum biology.

1. Dr. Jack Kruse: Sunlight as the Primary Scalar Energy Input

Neurosurgeon and quantum biologist Jack Kruse has been saying for over a decade that full-spectrum sunlight (especially UVA, red, and infrared-A at sunrise/sunset) acts as a “scalar wave” that organizes electrons and protons in water and in collagen. He cites the work of Fritz-Albert Popp (biophotons) and Gerald Pollack (fourth-phase/exclusion-zone water) to argue that light is literally structuring the water in your fascia and CSF into a liquid-crystalline lattice capable of superconducting energy.

2. Dr. Gerald Pollack and Fourth-Phase (EZ) Water in Living Tissue

Pollack’s lab at the University of Washington has shown that infrared light (especially near-IR, which is abundant in morning sunlight) builds ordered, hexagonal “exclusion-zone” water next to hydrophilic surfaces — including collagen and hyaluronic acid in fascia. This EZ water is negatively charged and acts like a battery. Sunlight literally charges your connective tissue.

3. Dr. Stephanie Seneff and the Liquid-Crystalline Lens as a Light Transducer

MIT senior research scientist Stephanie Seneff published a 2022 paper arguing that the crystalline proteins in the eye lens (α-crystallin) form a liquid-crystalline matrix that transduces structured sunlight into metabolic signals via sulfate synthesis and deuterium depletion. She explicitly uses the term “scalar energy” in her slides and interviews, citing the lens as the body’s primary light antenna.

4. Dr. Arturo Solís Herrera and the Melanin–Water–Light Battery

Mexican ophthalmologist Arturo Solís Herrera discovered that melanin splits water exactly like chlorophyll, using visible and near-IR light. His work (published in peer-reviewed journals since 2005) shows the eye and skin melanin are dissociating H₂O into H₂ and O₂, creating intrinsic energy independent of food. Morning sunlight is the trigger. He calls melanin “the human photosynthesis system.”

5. Prof. Alexander Wunsch and the Coherence Domains of Biological Water

German photobiologist Alexander Wunsch, one of the world’s leading authorities on light medicine, cites Emilio Del Giudice’s quantum field theory work showing that living systems contain “coherence domains” of water that oscillate in phase with incident light frequencies. When sunlight (especially sunrise red/IR) is coherent and low-angle, it entrains these domains like a conductor entrains an orchestra. Incoherent artificial light cannot do this.

Putting the Pieces Together

When you watch a sunrise barefoot on grass:

  • Infrared-A penetrates deep into fascia → builds EZ water → turns collagen into a semiconductor.
  • Red and UVA enter the eye → melanin and crystallins split water → charge CSF and brain.
  • The entire body becomes a tuned liquid-crystal antenna, resonating with the Earth’s own Schumann scalar field.

This is why 20 minutes of morning sun can outperform an hour of red-light therapy panels, and why viewing sunrise through a window (blocking IR) is almost useless. it is also why people who “get real sun” can often reverse autoimmune conditions, increase metabolism, and regain hormonal harmony without changing anything else.

The old model said that sunlight “hits your skin.” The new model says sunlight permeates and reprograms your biphotonic field and triggers a cascade of benefits.

The next time you're in the sun, marvel at this wonderous and mysterious part of God's creation and try to become more attuned to its many positive benefits.
