The pH balance that you’ve heard about is the physiological balancing act of all the acidic and alkaline substances throughout the body. The most critical pH is in the blood. All other fluids and organs will fluctuate in range in order to keep the blood at a slightly alkaline pH of 7.35-7.45. However, lifestyle factors can make us more acidic. We are alkaline by design, but acidic by function.
Diet, stress, lack of rest, and even the use of pharmaceutical drugs contribute to acidity. When the body becomes too acidic and goes uncorrected over time, your unbalanced pH can contribute to disease formation and progression.
