General Product Info

Q: Are your products organic?
A: We do not claim that our products are organic. Although we try to source organic or wildcrafted raw materials, if a raw material does not pass our testing procedures for potency and purity, we will not use it. Furthermore, our manufacturing facility is not registered by the US government to process certified organic foods, and therefore we cannot claim our products are organic, with the exception of those that we felt it necessary to obtain additional ogranic certification, like our Organic Turmeric.

Q: Are your products gluten free?
A: Yes, all of our products are gluten free.

Q: Is your rice flour gluten free?
A:
Our rice flour is gluten free and does not contain corn. It is a white rice powder.

Q: Are your herbs irradiated?
A:
All of our herbs are non-irradiated. (Not having been exposed to radiation.)

Q: Why are some products labeled as “Proprietary Blend”?
A: Some of our herbal supplements are listed as a Proprietary Blend instead of indicating the milligrams of each herb. Although some manufacturers do this because they want to keep their formula a trade secret, or to prevent consumers from knowing the extact milligrams of ingredients they are taking, we use the proprietary belnd label to keep prices as economical as possible, given the large overhead for producing pure supplements. If we were to state the milligrams for each herb in a single formula, we would routinely have to perform potency testing to comply with GMP regulations. We feel this test is unnecessary because we perform identity testing on every herb that arrives at our facility using HPTLC (high performance thin layer chromatography), the best method possible. Performing this extra test only adds cost. If you would like to know the ingredient proportions for any of our products, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We’re more than happy the tell you.

Q: Which capsule is bigger the 1 or the 00?
A: 00 is the largest, followed by 0, 1, and 4

Q: What does HDPE stand for?
A: High Density Poly Ethylene. This is the plastic that Dr. Clark finds least polluting.

Sources/Derivatives

Q: What are our Gelatin Capsules derived from? Do they contain Porcine?

A: Dr. Clark discovered that capsules made from vegetables are typically polluted with chemicals from the extensive processing required during manufacturing. We use easy to swallow gelatin capsules made from bovine hide and are certified to be BSE free, they do not come from bones and go through extensive purity testing.

Our outer gelatin capsule shells are:

Water Filters

Q: How often should the charcoal be replaced in the whole house filter?
A: Every 3 to 5 years, depending on use.

Q: Do I have to purchase a gas powered water heater in order to make the Dr. Clark Whole House Filter work?
A: No. If you have access to gas to heat your water in a gas powered water heater then that is preferred but not absolutely necessary. The reason for this is that electric heaters work by heating the water with elements that pollute the water slightly. How you heat your water does not affect the performance of our water filter, it just gives you the additional benefits of not polluting your water with ions of heavy metals emitting from your heating elements. Gas powered water heaters heat the water "slower" and are lined with glass that protects the water from contact with metal. Our filter focuses on taking out organic solvents, such as chlorine, oil and benzene. It takes out some minerals, but not all.

Q: How often do I need to change my counter top/shower filter?
A: The manufacturer recommends every 6 months. If you are following Dr. Clark’s protocols, you need to change the charcoal every month.

Q: Do you need to turn off the water in your house to change the filters in the Version 3 Whole House water filter?
A: No, simply turn off the Red By-Pass Values that are right behind the filter head. Let the water drain and change the filters.

Q: What type of water do you use when manufacturing products?
A:
We use deionized water, which comes from specialized deionized tanks for most of our products. Expect our green black walnut tincture, which is from our Whole House Water filter.
