Inulin is a soluble fiber often referred to as a fructooligosaccharide (FOS). This type of indigestible fiber attracts water and creates a gel-like substance in the digestive tract, a property which slows the rate of digestion, making you feel full longer, and helps to regulate blood sugar levels.*

Inulin has a slight, naturally sweet flavor, but is low on the glycemic index, which is helpful to those watching blood sugar levels and those battling Candida overgrowth.*

Inulin in supplement form can play a very important role in intestinal microflora. Inulin is a prebiotic. Prebiotics are not living organisms like probiotics; rather prebiotics are a nutritional source to feed and stimulate probiotic (good bacteria) activity. The good bacteria in the gut helps to control populations of potentially harmful organisms, like bad bacteria and Candida, in the digestive tract. Health problems can occur when populations of bad microorganisms outnumber the good.*

Prebiotic fibers like inulin also support nutrient absorption during the digestion process.*

Inulin, magnesium citrate

Suggested Use

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is inulin fiber derived from?
A: We use inulin derived from Jerusalem artichoke.

Q: Why is there magnesium mixed with the inulin?
A: This product is part of our Candida Cleanse kit. People who suffer from Candida overgrowth are often magnesium deficient. We included magnesium as a means to increase magnesium intake.
