Kelp (Laminaria digitata) is a species of brown seaweed native to the cold waters of the northern Atlantic Ocean. Recognized for its natural iodine content, kelp and other sea vegetables are believed to be better sources of bioavailable iron than previously thought thanks to their vitamin C content, which increases the bioavailability of plant derived iron. Kelp has an impressive nutrient profile, and is considered among the best sources of unprocessed, food-derived iodine.

Kelp has a broad range of nutrients including iodine, vitamin C, vitamin K, folate, calcium, magnesium, and phytonutrients, such as fucoidans (also known as sulfated polysaccharides). Due to the concentrated source of iodine, kelp may help thyroid function by supporting the synthesis and secretion of thyroid hormones that are vital for regulating metabolism. Additionally, antioxidant vitamins (C and E) and minerals (manganese and zinc) in kelp help to protect cells from oxidative stress.*

Returns

You can return any unopened or unused product within 30 days on the date on your invoice. Simply send the item back with a copy of your invoice.
